NBSTSA Scholarship Opportunity
The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is committed to the advancement of surgical technology and surgical assisting, as well as the continuing education of individuals entering and working within the profession. The 2015 NBSTSA Scholarship Program is designed to assist students in pursuing their education via NBSTSA recognized surgical technology and surgical assisting programs. The 2015 program includes $1000 (full) and $500 (partial) scholarship awards. Scholarships are awarded annually prior to the AST National Conference.

AST.org provides scholarship opportunities to attendees of National Conferences
Past Presidents' Conference Honorarium
Never been to conference, but would like to attend? In celebration of their rich history of service and commitment to the profession of surgical technology, the AST Past Presidents are excited to again offer the Conference Honorarium intended for certified AST members. Scholarships will not exceed $1,000 each, and will be offered to AST members who have NEVER attended the national conference and have been AST members with uninterrupted membership for a minimum of two years prior to the date of the application. Recipients must maintain their AST membership and certification and will be asked to share their experiences by contributing an article to the August edition of The Surgical Technologist. (Students and instructors are not eligible.)
