Leah-Marie Guill became a surgical technologist after working as a veterinary assistant and fell in love with the surgical procedures and advancements she observed. She holds the credentials of Certified Surgical Technologist, her Associate Degree in Surgical Technology from College of Western Idaho and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho in Physical Education with an emphasis in Biology. She currently works as a private assistant for a plastic surgeon in Boise, Idaho where she lives with her husband and two sons.

Tracie Snyder has been a Surgical Technologist for 22 years. I have always been interested in the medical field. I became a licensed practical nurse 25 years ago. I was a private scrub and nurse for an orthopedic surgeon for the last 15 years. I now work in the main O.R.. I enjoy doing other specialties now. I enjoy all out door activities. But most I love to garden. |

Kammie Hamel
Kammie Hamel began her journey as a surgical technologist when she received her certification in May of 2017, followed by her Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology from College of Western Idaho. Previous to that, she worked as an office manager for a chiropractic office, as well as a switchboard operator for the St. Luke’s switchboard while attending college. She currently works in the main O.R. at Boise St. Luke’s hospital, where she plans to continue developing her knowledge and skill set.
